Ecstacy. Agony. Jubilance. Joy. Tension. Anger. Exasperation. Pain. Disappointment.
From an ocean of variant emotions,
these are just a few that the events on a football pitch can do to a fan.
Football is special, it keeps me hopeful,
it pulls me through on the darker days.
Football…ah hell, Sport…no,
Art, Creation of any kind or form
Can make you feel.
And to feel, to be really moved–isn’t that ethereal?
Isn’t that what people are often in search for?
But THIS…
THIS hasn’t sunk in yet,
THIS I don’t know,
THIS I can’t yet comprehend,
“WE ARE LIVERPOOL, THIS MEANS MORE”
THIS, I guess, meant more!
